Starbucks is one of the most well-known coffeehouse company that takes it’s beverages very seriously. Whenever you walk into one of its franchises, you’re greeted with the aroma of freshly ground coffee, and an excitement for what awaits you on its seasonal menu.
Starbucks is always coming up with new coffee flavors and reintroducing seasonal favorites year after year, which is probably why it has gained such a loyal customer base around the world. Just recently, it brought out a new item that gave dessert lovers another reason to enjoy cheesecake.
Just when we thought that nothing could beat a classic New York cheesecake topped with a strawberry compote, some Starbucks lovers took it up another level by whipping it into a Frappuccino! And people are going crazy over this life-changing cheesecake-flavored drink that tastes like heaven!
What’s even better is that the beverage is a secret-menu item that you won’t find in any of the stores, but most Starbucks shops will give you the flexibility to customize your drink and add any flavorings and toppings you want, at an extra price, of course.
But don’t go skipping off to your nearest coffee shop just yet, because if you ask the baristas for a strawberry cheesecake Frappuccino, you might just get a funny look from them. This secret drink isn’t on the menu so you’ll need to give the barista special instructions to prepare it.
Here is the recipe for this life-changing Frap that will get you addicted for the rest of the summer:
- Ask your barista for medium or large strawberries and cream Frappuccino
- Ask for two pumps of hazelnut syrup and extra strawberries to be blended into your drink
- While it’s being prepared, ask your barista to put some graham cracker crumbles at the bottom of the cup before pouring in the Frap
- Top the beverage off with some more strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream
That was easy, wasn’t it? It may not sound cheesecake-y but the flavor is spot on, and the extra strawberries give the perfect amount of tartness to complement the sweetness of the hazelnut and strawberry syrup.
If you don’t want your drink to be too sweet, you can ask for just one pump of the hazelnut syrup. If you’re feeling extra, you can ask for more graham cracker crumbles on top, to make it taste more like S’mores.
