The Mediterranean diet is known as “the king” of all diets. People love to follow this diet plan and have seen great results. This diet is well popular due to the advantages that it offers. Such as it reduces the risks of strokes and makes your heart healthy. And it also reduces blood pressure issues. The Mediterranian Diet Plan is a favorite of many because of the health benefits that it offers.

American Heart Association / The Mediterranian Diet plan includes fresh vegetables and organic vinegar.

In contrast, the diet is more prevalent in coastline areas. The diet includes:
• Fresh fish
• Olives and their oil
• Green vegetables such as lettuce, peas, celery, broccoli, and many more.
• A hint of spices such as salt, pepper, or powdered red chilies
• Few drops of organic vinegar or apple cider vinegar.

All the dieticians who support Mediterranean diets forget to mention a flaw. The perception of a Mediterranean diet is exclusive. However, this diet is mostly followed by people living in Greece, Spain, Italy, and France. On the other hand, Northern Africa has many countries near the coastline. Including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya. The same goes for Middle Eastern countries too, such as Israel, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, and many more. Undoubtedly, Mediterranean food is made with a pure cultural style.

Is The Mediterranean Diet Plan the Best One?

The Mediterranean diet has won the “best diet” title globally. Nonetheless, its preparation method, presentation, seasonings, and flavors are unique. A Brooklyn Based dietician Maya Feller asserted that the Mediterranean diet encircled the 22 countries. Around the Mediterranean Sea have creatively different flavor profiles, seasoning, herb foods, spices, and heat.

She added that there isn’t even a single diet that encircles the entire Mediterranean region. This diet emphasizes fresh green vegetables, fruits, seafood, beans, lentils, and whole grains. However, the diet excludes meat and poultry. Indeed, the fresh quality ingredients and simple preparation methods let the tremendous flavor shine.

Veggies Are Considered Healthy Diets

Moreover, according to Maya, there is nothing wrong with typical foods such as vegetables, pasta, seafood, and olive oil. But, the turning point is that we should also celebrate and explore other flavors and combinations.

In addition, Shana Spence (M.S., R.D.N., C.D.N. of The Nutrition Tea) says that people need to realize that every culture has its own dishes. They are cooked differently and might look and present differently.

Cultural Dishes Are Also Flavorful

According to her, some people tend to think of sautéed veggies, which are also fine, delicious, and full of nutrients. But sauces, salsas, salads, and strews also contain veggies with zero calories. People who love to cook can consider a cookbook—highlighting some recipes with different flavors from the countries.

Moreover, Shana Spence asserts that some people love to dine out. If that’s the case, consider various restaurants that offer unique continental cuisines. All of these can give you an exploration along with joy.

Noam Infused With Some Cultural Recipes

Such as Italian wine with a side of Israeli burnt eggplant Syrian pita with hummus. Along with that, a drizzle of Turkish olives. You can always try recipes from an Israeli executive chef (Noam Blitzer) in KY.

However, Noam asserted that he infused many cultural flavors into delicious foods. They are featured in various restaurants as their daily menu. Furthermore, he said that he moved from Israel when he was six years old. Israel is the melting pot of various cultures. All the cultures came together to form a local dish with new flavors and preparations.
